Kenny Kannada is the first recipient of the Cove Counry OrWeb Hal of Fame award. Kenny was born September 21, 1946 in Magnum, Oklahoma. Kenny started playing music at a young age. Kenny's singing, playing and song writing has entertained music fans all over. He played in several bands and has formed several bands over the years including the Oak Creek Country Band and the Stone Mountain Band. The Cove Country Opry was introduced to Kenny 2 years ago. He and his wife Maggie moved here from Early, Texas. The Opry Staff met them before they were settled in a home here.

Jim Flynn is the 2008 recipient of the Cove Country Opry Hall of Fame Award. Jim started with the Opry in 2001. He has served in several positions with the Opry. Jim started playing music at a young age and has played several instruments. For many years he was a drummer. Today Jim plays one of the most important instruments in country music the steel guitar. He loves the instrument so much that he opened Lone Star Steel Guitar Company and is now selling the steel guitars all over the world and keeping country music alive. Jim was recognized at the December 2008 Cove Country Opry Christmas Show for his dedication to the Opry and the Entertainers, Musicians, and the audience. He has also served as the emcee of the Opry since 2001.  Jim is the current President of the Cove Country Opry Inc.
